Other uses
If Runville Labs is involved in a business transaction (sale, merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganization or dissolution), personal data may be transferred or disclosed as necessary in connection with that transaction.
We also collect anonymous, aggregated browsing and usage data. This information is used to monitor, manage and improve the Services and may be shared in aggregated form with partners; it does not identify you personally.
3. Retention of Personal Data
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by the type of data and purpose of processing. You may request specific information about retention periods by contacting us at info@runville.ai. You also have the right to request deletion of your personal data as described in Section 6.
4. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell your personal data. We may share personal information with carefully selected third parties that perform services on our behalf or help us deliver the Services. These third parties are contractually obligated to process data only for specified purposes and to keep it secure.
Key categories of recipients include:
- Cloud storage and hosting providers — e.g., Amazon Web Services (AWS) for secure storage and management of data.
- Payment processors — PCI-compliant services to process subscription and purchase payments.
- Analytics and performance tools — to analyze usage, monitor performance, and improve the Services.
- Advertising and marketing partners — with your consent, to measure campaign performance and personalize promotions.
- AI partners — with your consent, anonymized fitness data may be shared to produce personalized coaching recommendations.
- Compliance and legal service providers — when needed to meet legal and regulatory obligations.
Data storage and geography: Your data is securely stored on trusted platforms (e.g., AWS) in Europe and the USA and is protected by industry-standard measures. We process and store personal data within your country of residence where feasible; however, as an organization registered in Kazakhstan and the USA that uses international service providers, data may be transferred to other countries. When transfers occur, we take appropriate steps to ensure legal compliance and equivalent protection (such as transferring to countries with adequate protections or using standard contractual clauses).
When disclosure is required: We may also disclose personal data where required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Runville Labs, our users, or others.
5. International Data Transfers
Where your personal data is transferred outside your country of residence, we will ensure such transfers comply with applicable legal requirements. This may include transfers to countries recognized as providing adequate protection or the use of approved contractual safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses). If you would like more information about the safeguards used for a particular transfer, contact info@runville.ai.
6. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of your personal data (the “right to be forgotten”), subject to legal and contractual retention obligations.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Request restriction of processing.
- Request portability of certain data you have provided.
To exercise any of these rights or to request information about retention, please contact us at info@runville.ai. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
7. User Account Assistance Mode
With your explicit and time-limited consent, a Runville Labs support team member may temporarily access your account to troubleshoot or resolve a specific issue. When this assistance mode is activated:
- Access is strictly limited to a small, authorized group of trained staff bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Account access does not include your location or sensitive health data unless you explicitly permit it.
- Activation requires secure one-time authentication and your explicit consent each time.
- You may withdraw consent at any time.
8. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data in transit and at rest, including SSL encryption for data transmission. Access to personal data is limited to authorized personnel who need the information to provide the Services. While we take commercially reasonable steps to protect your data, no system is completely immune to risk and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals, we will notify the relevant supervisory authorities within applicable timeframes and, where required, notify affected users.
9. Children’s Data
The Services are intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If we discover that we have collected personal information from someone under 16 without appropriate consent, we will promptly delete that information, close the account, and block access. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us personal information, please contact info@runville.ai.
10. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to provide, secure and improve the Services, and to analyze usage patterns. These technologies help us deliver a better user experience and measure product performance. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies. You can learn more about or manage cookie preferences via your browser settings or in the app where such controls are provided.
