These Data Terms describe how Runville Labs handles requests related to user data, including account deletion, verification, retention and related obligations. 2. Account Deletion — How to Request
If you want your Runville Labs account deleted, send an email from the email address registered to your account to info@runville.ai with the subject line “Account Deletion” and a clear statement that you request permanent deletion of your account and associated personal data.

3. Verification Procedure
To protect account security and prevent unauthorized deletions, we will verify that the deletion request originates from the account email. As part of this process we may:

• Send a confirmation message to the registered email and require an affirmative reply;
• Ask for minimal additional information only where necessary to confirm identity (for example, the last four digits of the payment method used for the account).

We will never ask for your full password or other sensitive credentials as part of the verification.

4. Timeline and Processing
Upon receipt of a valid request and successful verification, Runville Labs will:

• Process the deletion within 30 calendar days;
• Notify you by email when deletion is complete.

During the processing period we may suspend account access where appropriate to preserve data integrity and security.

5. What Happens When an Account Is Deleted
When deletion is completed we will:

• Remove personal data from active production systems;
• Cancel any active subscriptions associated with the account (you will not be billed after cancellation);
• Provide confirmation of deletion to the email address on file.

6. Exceptions and Retained Information
Some information may be retained after you request deletion if retention is necessary for legitimate business or legal reasons, including:

• Compliance with legal, tax or accounting obligations;
• Fraud prevention, safety, or security purposes;
• Defense of legal claims;
• Preservation of anonymized or aggregated data that cannot reasonably be re-associated with you.

We will only retain the minimal information required and will apply appropriate safeguards to any retained data.

7. Data Portability and Backup Copies
If you request your data prior to deletion, we will provide a copy of the personal data we hold about you in a common, machine-readable format, where technically feasible. Backup copies may take additional time to be purged; deletion of backups will occur in accordance with our internal backup retention policies and applicable law.

8. Revocation of Consent and Partial Requests
You may withdraw consent for specific processing activities (where processing is based on consent) or request restriction of processing instead of complete deletion. You may also request deletion of specific data fields while keeping your account active; such partial requests will be evaluated and executed where possible.

9. Appeals and Disputes
If you believe your deletion request was not handled in accordance with these Terms or applicable law, contact us at info@runville.ai with details of the issue. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Where required by law, you may also escalate the matter to the relevant data protection authority.
